"We really enjoyed our stay in Stockholm, it’s really a pleasant place to visit. First of all, the Stockholm à la Carte card is really convenient. The only trouble is that they never quite work when the people at the entrance of the different places want to pass them through the machine, they usually had to register them manually, but we could go everywhere we wanted to.

The first lunch, in the Kaffegillet, it was exactly right. Everything was ready when we arrived and we could taste something typically Swedish. The City Hall restaurant Eken was also good, the places were reserved for us and there was enough food for everyone till the end.

The guided tour at the Royal Palace in town at 10 o’clock was perfect. The time is great as we were the only visitors admitted at that time of the day, the guide was really interesting and made the tour really lively. The Wasa museum was also very good, quite impressive. The guide in the city hall was also very good. We had the tour in English but he really did it very well and was careful to be clear, even though there was some rehearsal going on and it was a bit loud.

The boat trip to Drottningholm was pleasant, but the guided tour was a bit too late, we had to run to reach the Chinese Pavillion before it closed and we didn’t have time for the Royal Theater. The trip back into town was surprisingly short and very easy by bus and underground.

I hope this information can help you for another trip.
